Cate Hortl is a young and rising France-based musician and producer who has never decided between her fascination for the energy of the clubs and her passion for the haunting melodies of Dark Pop. She released her first EP "SMOG" in the fall of 2021 on Ritmo Fatale, then a second called "HEX" in June 2022 on Warriorecords. She drew our attention after we reviewed her insightful remix for Crille & Tamalt’s debut on HEARec.

Halloween night at BAR, Rotterdam: Gianni Vercetti and Antoni Maiovvi of Giallo Disco Records took over the basement dressed as bloodstained priests. We didn’t record the set, but we took notes, only one note we couldn’t make out so it got replaced by something else. This is a reconstruction of that night. Much like you’d get on Unsolved Mysteries or similar. Thanks to Jetti and the crew for rad times. At one point Maiovvi played a severed leg like a saxophone. Enjoy!
