The Dirty Jazz Band – our friends and great musicians are going to play a CFCP Jazz Night

The Dirty Jazz Band are a young Dublin based group of talented lads who join their inspiring gifts together to bring us on a musical fantasy tour. With a combination of originals and improvisations on classics by Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, and Dave Holland to mention but a few, the music of these casual but accomplished players brings us on a journey out of time and space, from terra firma to dark underworlds and then soaring purposefully to the upper stratospheres. The Centre for Creative Practices (CFCP) established in 2009 in Dublin is the only cultural venue in Ireland devoted to enhancing the visibility of resident international artists to wider audiences. Along with this the Centre promotes experimental and independent arts projects as well as multidisciplinary and multicultural collaborations.

CFCP is committed to giving artists the possibility to improve their financial situation through offering artists workshops and seminars in our venue. CFCP also offers promotional strategies for interesting artistic initiatives.

CFCP facilitates both programmes by the international and local artists through provision of a gallery, workshop space and a venue on very accessible rates as well as presents its own programme.
