Alien Flea (in-game music)

A Celtic/Medieval pirate classic.

The 1600's were dangerous times for royal galleons, trade merchants and wayward seamen (hehe) of English and Celtic colonies. Rogue pirates and mercenaries took to the seas in search for plunder and riches for…um… ale… and wenches… Epic battles ensued, great ships perished, brave men sent to Davy Jones' Locker - and treasure lost somewhere in the great blue yonder. 

This track tries to bring to life this swashbuckling, ale swilling, treasure hunting time through the use of some classic Celtic and medieval instruments, along with some more modern (Hollywood style) orchestral flavours.

This track would be perfect for: 
 - Action on the high seas
- Setting the scene for treasure smuggling
- A pro/antagonists pirate theme 
- Video Games, film, Television 
 - Any situation you want to create a big impact
- This track is meant as a loop (so ends abruptly)

Apps used:
- DM1 for beat
- Sunrizer + Nanostudio (Eden) for zips zaps and other synth sounds
- Sampletank for guitars

This track is the first draft of a track (The Frightmare) i am currently working on. 

This first draft was made entirely on my iPad (using various apps) and later moved over to Logic for cleaning and polishing (see the polished version here https://soundcloud.com/gunn-rouche/frightmare).

I dont' know what compelled me to upload an incomplete, rough version of the track but thought it might be worth sharing how iOS devices such as the iPad can be a very useful little tool when starting a new track.
