Mia Barnett, a senior at Crescenta Valley High School in Glendale, is one of the most remarkable track athletes in the nation. She currently holds the top mile and two-mile times in the nation as well as the fourth best 800 time. Beyond the track, Mia is an accomplished student and community member who, during the worst of Covid in 2020, gained valuable life perspective volunteering at the Los Angeles Dream Center. She'll attend the University of Virginia in the fall of 2021 on a track scholarship.

Fresno State and Boise State played the 2018 Mountain West Conference championship game at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, ID. The game went to overtime with Boise State going up 16-13 on a 23-yd FG. The Bulldogs drove down to the Broncos 1 yard line where Ronnie Rivers took it in for the win. It was Fresno State's first win in Boise since 1984.
