On July 29, Alex O’Rion delivers the final single from 'The Deep Mixes' compilation. 

Dutch producer Alex O’Rion is a rising star on Hernan Cattaneo’s SUDBEAT label. Originally producing trance, O’Rion has now found his groove within deeper, progressive sounds. He is regularly supported by the likes of Nick Warren, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, and more. 

Alex O’Rion’s extended remix of Matt Lange’s ‘Rift’ is the highest-selling track on last month’s ‘20 Years Of Anjunabeats: The Deep Mixes’ compilation, which sat in the #1 spot on the Beatport charts for over 2 weeks. Now, it is available on all music platforms. The groove-fuelled and melodic climax to James Grant’s ‘Anjunadeep: 03’ mix, Matt Lange’s ‘Rift’ (2011) is a showcase of the US producer’s unparalleled engineering skill.

Hello friends, I'm glad to share with you a remix I did for my friends Husa & Zeyada of their song "Trick of the mind". 

I love their musical project since the very first second I heard their music and it feels super aligned to have been able to retouch one of their album's song. 

Adam & I have been friends for a long time now, he’s been a pillar in our Montréal electronic scene and its been so exciting to follow his Egyptian journey alongside Rola in the recent years! They truly create magic together. 

I remember to this day having an instant "wow" moment when I watched their first Husa & Zeyada video in the desert. 🏜️ 

That soul, that synergy, that voice & that dust! Their co-creation is inspiring and I'm thankful I could work on a remix for them! 🪘

Towering tall over the streets of Novi Sad, Serbian giant Space Motion makes a swift return to W with a sublime two-track delivery in Hybrid. Following the success of his previous Morning Slide, Hybrid takes things to the next level with a unique combination of technology and spirit that collide for a highly narcotic glimpse into the future. To kick off the release we are presented with the titular Hybrid. Coursing through a similar vein, this gripping delivery expertly bides its time, as vibrant percussions sit front and center before a meandering low-end swell storms into frame. Submerged now in a brooding atmosphere, lively vocal chops light the way as scintillating synthetic dashes imbue the piece with a sense of urgency. Boasting a sophisticated design throughout, we are now presented with a guttural lead vocal that flourishes in the darkest depths, coming alive at the center of Hybrid. As we continue, a second gravity-defying picture comes into frame, enhancing the experience while all the colors meld into one before overriding our senses for one last time. On the flip side, seductive from the outset, Arra unfurls over a bright percussion and suggestive vocal chops that strut alongside a stabbed bassline for a warm welcome. With a solid frame locked in, our beloved Serbian maestro pulls back the curtains on a tantalizing lead as synth and piano interlock for dramatic effect while a gorgeous wall of vocals emerges from the depths, lending a genre-bending aura to Arra.
