ChaChng was born in Houston, TX and at young age relocated to Oakland, CA with his family, where his roots in life and music began. Taking his pursuit in music more seriously he found his sound to be smooth, jazzy and conscious, wanting to only produce music to feed the soul and was able to create his own genre of Hip Hop / Soul, keeping himself apart from the crowd. The audience is able to lose themselves in his storytelling flow, deep smooth silky yet raspy voice and harmonies all over a vibey beat that can not be denied.
