This track is to remind everyone that we are here now and we should be celebrated.  Do not wait until its too late to tell your loved ones you love them, or to take a leap of faith in order to chase after your dreams.  The time is now.  I have been recording music for 20 years.  I still have many goals I would like to accomplish.  I love hip hop culture, I love being a musician.  I believe I have evolved as a song writer and as a performer. Recorded in 2006 with DJ  Naughty, this was Cascius aka Ace Diamond's first mixtape release. Critically acclaimed, this mixtape created long and lasting waves in the hip hop industry. Featuring other Rhode Island emcee's such as Chachi Carvalho, Vini Boom Bap (aka Bad Lad), and many more this was a project that helped to put RI on the Hip Hop map in late 2006. Released shortly after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, Ace Diamond gives the listener a unique perspective on life, death, and the relationships that make us who we are. A true album for the ages, Ace takes classic beats, a velvet flow, and a unique perspective  and shows us real life music, he has quite the story to tell with 06' The Transition.

Charles "Chachi" Carvalho is a multi-talented artist and songwriter.  He is a first generation Cape Verdean/American born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.  He comes from a long line of musicians and singers.  He typically performs with his first cousin and DJ, Jack "DJ Therion" Santos.  

Chachi is a dedicated father, youth advocate, teacher, football coach, writer and entreprenuer.  He is owner and sole proprietor of Beat Box Studio, a fully functioning digital recording studio located at 250 Main St. Pawtucket, RI.  Beat Box Studio offers a variety of services including youth birthday parties where kids can receive the VIP treatment and see what its like to be a star for the day.  

Chachi is consistantly recreating himself as a man and as an artist.  His brain is an engine for creative thought and inspiring ideas.  It is evident in his songwriting and clearly displayed on his latest critically acclaimed release "In Dust Real Evolution" (available on itunes and cdbaby.com).
