CHɅCHØU sets are usually a journey through the clouds, with a blend of melodic house & techno, instrumental, vocal, tribal, progressive & deep house.
Expect her to bring you on a progressive and melodic journey with ups and down!
A rising performer who’s always at the front of the dance floor feeling the music and creating the scene when she's behind the decks.
She performed in various countries, such as Ireland, South East Asia & Canada.
She settled down in Vancouver in Feb 2019 and performed in various venues across Vancouver (MIA, The Waldorf, Central Studio, Anza Club, Ombre Social House, SPACE, Outdoor locations...) As well as in BC including Squamish and Whistler.
CHɅCHØU is also the co-founder of MINDSET @mindsetmusik - collective bringing underground live electronic music, digital & contemporary art to intimate spaces. Mindset launched its first event back in 2017 where Nancy Live headlined in Dublin favourite venue, ''Tengu''. Mindset also organised various events & made collaborations in Vancouver. Most recently hosted a showcase with Impact Festival & Burning man virtual events headlined by Canadian producer Jordan Gill"

CHACHØU [shah-shoo] is a French DJ, producer, and co-founder of Mindset Collective, known for her ability to seamlessly blend hypnotic grooves, driving techno, acid textures, and emotive melodic touches into carefully crafted journeys. 
Currently based in Ireland after years immersed in the underground scenes of Canada, Mexico, the USA, and Europe. 
Standout performances at ADE (Amsterdam), Fuinneamh Festival, All Together Now, Electric Love Festival, and more, she has shared the stage with Korolova, Dense & Pika, Truncate, Anyasa, Kasablanca, Gene Farris, Ardalan, HNTR, and Nancy Live. 
Focussed on creating a shared experience that connects people to the music and to themselves, in January she co-launched a new monthly event in Cork city, Under The Surface, inviting local DJs to perform in an intimate setting, accompanied by behind-the-scenes interviews—all filmed and made available on YouTube. The event fosters community, supports emerging artists, promotes local talent, and encourages engagement through exclusive content, insights, and audience interaction.

This week’s entry in the Local Selection Mix Series comes from CHACHØU, the French-born, Dublin-based artist known for her visceral, big-room techno sound.

CHACHØU’s musical palette is wide-reaching, pulling inspiration from across the electronic spectrum. While techno, indie dance, and melodic techno form the foundation of her sound, her sets are marked by deep, pounding drums and sweeping, emotive melodies. It’s a style that has captivated dancefloors from Ireland to Mexico, the USA, and Canada. Over the years, she’s shared the stage with heavyweights like Korolova, Dense & Pika, Truncate, Anyasa, Kasablanca, Gene Farris, Ardalan, and HNTR.

CHACHØU is a DJ, producer, and event promoter hailing from France. With a deep-rooted love for music from an early age, CHACHØU's draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, including Techno, Indie Dance, Melodic Techno & Dirty Bassline Tech House.

She has crafted her signature style with her versatile approach enabling her to adapt her style for diverse crowds, making her a desirable & highly sought out artist.

She has performed in various countries, such as Ireland, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, USA & Vancouver while spreading her unique sound throughout British Columbia, Canada since 2019.

She has shared stages with icons like Korolova, Dense and Pika, Truncate, Anyasa, Kasablanca, Gene Farris, Ardalan, and HNTR.
