Recorded live at Mississippi Underground between 12:45–2:00 AM, the hour when judgment clocks out and the subs start acting disrespectful, @ofthetrees activated something feral in the crowd and somehow brought total coherence to the room at the same time, fusing everyone into one sweating, swaying organism while the bass felt genuinely illegal. The floor wasn’t just unstable, it felt compromised, like it had accepted it might not survive the set… and at some point he tore straight into the fabric of time and space, effectively opening a portal that the room collectively agreed not to question. The low end was doing unspeakable things, the crowd was being spiritually reconstructed, and Cream Pie Meg started lactating tree sap once again, which a study casually noted can happen after prolonged exposure to sub bass without adult supervision. I recorded this on my phone while Dolby On fought bravely against forces it was never designed to face. This isn’t mixed or mastered… this is what it sounded like when the room locked in and reality briefly lost jurisdiction. Eternally grateful to have witnessed this set in real time, and glad I caught the magic so there’s proof it was, in fact, as perfect as a live set can get.
