Ten years after retiring the song, my fingers stumbled on its forgotten guitar chords. The song was written by a different me; a biblical-literalist who longed for the apocalypse. That me and present me would disagree on so much. I wanted to relearn it anyway; an excavation into my past. I checked my iTunes library; it was not there. I checked my email history. "The Resolution" was not found. Instead I found this. A two-song combo, with "A Whisper" playing the intro—it being another religious song full of judgements for humankind. And this combo song had been sped up, resampled until me and the friend I recorded it with (a friendship which dissolved eight years ago) sounded like chipmunks. Maybe it's better this way.
