Live recording of a set played by our curator and resident DJ @otorongo-curinahuel at our home, Section8, for the January edition of our monthly gig, alongside @cuerponegro, @acjungle, @wallacbeats and @cocomariamusic.

This set closed the night right after Coco Maria's stunning strictly-vinyl DJ set, and is full of Afro and tribal rhythms from deep in the remote jungles of Latin America and beyond, as well as more clubby vibes.

Nowhere is a Burning Man regional event in Spain, the biggest such regional event in Europe. It began in 2004 and is held annually in July in the Monegros Desert, located in Aragon in north-eastern Spain. As an official regional event, Nowhere embraces the Burning Man principles.

New Moon, New Puma Punku Mix, fresh out of Tulum Mexico.

Puma Punku (gate of the puma) forms part of an advanced engineering structure site near Lake Titicaca, Bolivia.
A megalithic site, with interconnecting engineered blocks, such as 'H' shapes, that were once all connected together - akin to massive Lego pieces to form a large complex.

I just like the name 'Puma Punku' - it rolls off the tongue nicely, as do my carefully selected fresh organic beats roll off your ear drums and into your soul.

I love this mix, it really encapsulates where I am at musically, and where I'm heading towards.
A musical story, with a start, middle and an end.
Leaving you feeling centered and as fresh as a brand new sky.

@yemanjo is a project of the DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harris. Based in and inspired by his adopted Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, his original songs are an amalgamation of South American sounds, Afro-Latin rhythms, and electronic beats. He describes himself as a "Rainforest Soul" whose music reflects his deep respect for and knowledge of folkloric traditions from across the globe.
