Coming from Oslo, Norway, musical expression has been a journey of development for Takt. From groovy and playful to up-tempo with tribal influences, high quality productions have always been her main focus. Her passion for techno has made her an appreciated DJ. With performances at Melkweg in Amsterdam and Villa in her home town, she has been a central figure in the scene, being part of numerous electronic music concepts and collectives.

On her side, ANNĒ delivers a mesmerizing remix closing this EP in the perfect way.

Confusion - Point Zero [SOMA SELECTS Premiere]

This feels like my most complete body of work to date. Showcasing my true feelings & emotions was the prime factor in the early process and weighed heavily in the development of each sound. With most of my production now, I like to inject a layer of emotion. Throughout the EP you’ll hear sprinkles of metallic pads, airy vocals and meandering baselines that invoke nostalgia — this is a really important emotion for me when I’m writing music and my most valued tool. It’s my deepest connection and allows me to really explore my creativity. To be teaming up with YUKU is a real pleasure – this is the perfect home for Thermal Blue and I’m thrilled to be working with such a prodigious label.

Originally from Madrid, Yeiks has developed a unique sound that blends hypnotic, tribal, and powerful elements. His precise and immersive style leaves a distinctive mark on every set.
As a resident of Symbole Community, he has brought his refined selection to clubs such as Lokschuppen Berlin, Lab the Club, The Bassement, and El Invernadero, standing out for his ability to craft sonic narratives through rhythm.
In the studio, his approach has found a home on labels like RI7MO, PRTL WRX, and Duplicity, among others.
His sets are defined by a balance between relentless energy and melodic subtlety, delivering an experience that goes beyond the dance floor.
