R.I.P. Dave, Trugoy the Dove. A true great of hiphop.

A dedication to one of my favourite groups of all time. The mighty De La Soul. A group that showed me you could do hiphop and be yourself, be emotional, open, clever, deep and most of all fuuuuun. Prince Paul is still one of the best to ever produce and Pos and Dave still write great songs.
I chose to only use music from the years they were on Tommy boy Records as I know you can't find those albums on certain digital platforms and the early albums are still my favourite.
This is an hour and a half of greatness. Please enjoy.

De La Soul's Tommy Boy Years

In 2005 I met some guys through my friend Bill Sykes. They were a local Mancunian hiphop crew going by the name of Herrotics. Turned out one lived up the road from me, and his brother went to my college! I've never met any group of artist's who have written and produced as much as they have...yet most people may never find out as they choose to barely put their music out! I can tell you that they have been an inspiration for myself and the rest of The Natural Curriculum. Here's the first song I ever recorded with them. Since it has been sat for a decade with only a few who have ever heard it, I thought I should get it out to people and hopefully one day maybe you'll get to hear the mass of other material Herrotics have done over the past 10 years. I can also tell you that I am happy to have each of the main Herrotics featuring on my upcoming new album. Enjoy. Massive respect to my friends HERROTICS.
