In the midst of the darkness and mystery, a dark and solitary mountain emerged out of nowhere, inspiring fear in those who ventured to gaze upon it. Its sinister presence enveloped the surrounding land in an aura of loneliness and desolation. At the base of the mountain, it was said to hide elysian secrets, while its imposing peaks challenged any brave soul to discover the truth behind its inexplicable origin.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

aXe: Techno has been growing significantly in the Netherlands in recent years. Due to the hype, I encountered Bochka at an event about 1.5 years ago. From the moment I heard it, I knew I wanted to do something with this style. The growing popularity and increasing number of events motivates me every day to break through.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

aXe: The set consists of Bochka and industrial tracks with dark, rough kicks. My goal was to create a good balance between minimal breaks and occasional build-ups in this set.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

aXe: I started out playing hard techno until I discovered bochka. It completely changed my playing style, as I moved from using a lot of breaks to just a few. Watching other DJs at bochka events has also helped me refine and develop my style further.

■SOLVIKTOR

Julian aka Solviktor from Bogotá, Colombia is the founder of Siblings Dystopian. This record label has become one of the strongholds that houses the rawest and most authentic sounds of industrial techno.

His musical approach is largely the result of channeling that passion for deep, sinister textures and hard-hitting kick drums. In his most recent podcast, Solviktor presented a very intense hour of visceral techno, conceived as an hour-long journey through an unleashed arsenal hard-hitting kick drums and atmospheres charged with ominous mystery.

Through his label, Solviktor has given life to contributing to a movement that embraces the sinister and the defiant. These unite artists who share his passion for the visceral and uncompromising beauty of industrial techno with productions that embody the essence of the underground, his work reflects his commitment to the sound of industrial techno.
