CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

CSMR: The hard techno scene is massive in The Netherlands, as well as in my hometown, Nijmegen, so I don’t doubt it had a significant effect on the music I create and play. I do, however, feel like the biggest influence has been my continuous search for the more extreme and underground areas of music, from genres like deathcore when I was younger to the darker, faster and more industrial hard techno and bochka nowadays.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

CSMR: Not necessarily; it’s just a selection of tracks I’ve been in love with for the past few months. I always strive to create some sort of story with my sets, getting increasingly more aggressive and relentless, and keeping the energy level high throughout.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

CSMR: Like I said, my taste in industrial techno is getting increasingly darker and faster, and I think the creation of this set is definitely testament to that. Hopefully the listeners will experience a similar development and enjoy the set I created for them.
