On Friday 21st Aug 2015 i was honoured to be asked to DJ @ the opening of Banksys new show "Dismaland" in Weston Super Mare - UK. 
The whole thing was amazing & if you get a chance to check it out i would highly reccomend it !
My Mix started fairly Slow, Dark & Dismal but then people started dancing / getting down so i switched it up a bit about half way through.. 
Richard Hawley & his band played a Rock & Roll set after i'd finished!

The dust blew in hard. Relentless. All Burn long. Destroyed pretty much everything. Beautiful it was.
There was true love, crushing loss, epiphany, change.

We were challenged, confronted, baffled, amused.

It threw us curveballs, softballs, thrashed our weary minds to the point of burnout.

In the middle of this Carnival of Chaos, were the twin techno towers of DISTRIKT, letting fly with winning smiles, throbbing bass, passionate hugs, rainbow tears and a sense of unity through the beauty of the beat.

We wore black. And we fucking rocked.

Spinning for four impressive hours on the 18th December the lads piloted Room One with exceptional panache; so much so that we asked if the wouldn't mind us archiving an hour or so of it. Thankfully they said yes, we agreed upon a segment and boom... here it is exclusively for you: an audible treat that also enables us to tell the world that Groove Armada will be joining us repeatedly as FABRICLIVE residents in 2016.

t's a bit of a clichéd thing to note that a new year marks a time for new incarnations but with what we feel is an exciting year ahead for our Friday night programming, we've set an objective to bring fresh blood to our platform - from already credible artists not yet a part of our programme to upcoming talent. Sebastian Weingartshofer falls under the latter. DJing under his Skankandbass guise - a name that is more notably affiliated with his fledgling drum & bass focused brand and Youtube Channel - Seb is beginning to make his way onto some pretty solid lineups. He's also something of an A&R extraordinaire for musical powerhouse MTA records, with whom he'll be playing as part of their club takeover in a few weeks.
