The next Girlcast presents ÜBERKIKZ 🌹

The young artist is a Russian-born and Frankfurt based DJ. She has been part of the label @studioennea since the early beginnings and founded the feminist art collective junakarat. In the scene ÜBERKIKZ publicly positions herself against sexism, discrimination and racism. She actively supports FLINTA artists in the techno scene and works closely with @houseofflinta.
It's impossible not to dance when ÜBERKIKZ is on the decks. Her style is inspired by the early 2000s. Although her sets are infused with unstoppable groove from start to finish, they are not lacking in edginess. The kicks are hard and driving. Trancy melodies are uniquely combined with folk and tribal elements. Each of her sets is an emotional story that everyone can understand if they let themselves drift.

Fusion Tanzwüste Samstag 22-00, ich bin immer noch total überwältigt und gerührt was in der Nacht passiert ist. Trotz kurzen Regens war es knüppelvoll und ich konnte bei jedem Strobo-Blitzlicht immer weiter und weiter nach hinten gucken und tanzend leuchtende Totems erblicken, die mir aus der Ferne zuwinkten. Danke für eure Energie und der riesen Freude die ihr mir bereitet habt. Ganz viel Spaß mit der meiner Aufnahme 🌪️

Fusion Tanzwüste Saturday 22-00, I am still totally overwhelmed and moved by what happened that night. Despite the brief rain, it was packed and with every strobe light I could see further and further back and glowing dancing totems waving at me from afar.
