Fresh from his UK number 1 single, Borgeous is quickly making waves in the Electronic Dance Music scene as a top class music producer and DJ. His keen ear and innate talent to produce a provocative, textured sound has made people take notice. His UK number 1 “Tsunami (Jump)” which saw him team up with Tinie Tempah and Canadian duo Dvbbs is one of the biggest tracks of 2014 and has charted Worldwide! This was followed up with more chart success as he, together with Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Dvbbs took “Stampede” to the number 1 spot on the Beatport chart. 

Borgeous now returns for a solo effort, sounding better than ever with what is set to be a sure-fire hit for the autumn “Invincible”. Stunning sing-along vocals and impressive drops guarantee this to be a massive main room anthem gracing dance floors for years to come.

Borgeous has been supported on the package by a wealth of remix talents, including StoneBridge, Dexcell, Tough Love and Steerner.

Swedish producer StoneBridge, is no stranger to a great remix, having been responsible for that ever so popular riff on the 90s classic “Show Me Love” by Robin S. Here, Stone puts his signature twist on the track, combining his classic sounds and tight production for this main room grinder. In short, everything we have come to expect from Stone.

Fresh off the back of their remix for Ellie Goulding’s “Beating Heart”, North London trio Dexcell bring their signature rolling Drum ‘n Bass sound to the track. Racing hi-hats combine with a bouncing synth line to create a perfect platform for the original vocal to shine. This, coupled with the laid back yet deep, brooding bass line makes this a dynamic addition to the package. Sure to be a firm favourite for all D’n’B heads out there.

Tough Love have rapidly risen through the ranks of the house scene. Their distinct, recognisable productions together with energetic and bass-heavy DJ sets have created a cult following of hardcore fans across the UK and beyond. Their remix effort here is no exception, a subtle stripped-back yet satisfying combination of 90s piano stabs, creative drum patterns and bouncing garage chords that would be equally at home in headphones or on the dance floor.

New boy on the block Steerner rounds up this perfect package. Although young in years, his production is as sharp and experienced as the big boys, growing him a huge global fanbase, including superstar Tiesto, who always plays Steerner’s music in his live sets. Steerner brings a flux of energy to “Invincible” with his piano-fuelled, synth-heavy progressive mix of the track. A near-perfect slice of Swedish House for the new generation.

In 1985 Champion hired its first employee, an 18 year old named Paul Oakenfold who had been working as messenger boy in New York. Champion Records aimed at releasing underground club tunes, Hip Hop, Rare Grooves, Jazz & Soul tracks as well as uplifting House tunes on 12” vinyl originally found and licensed from the USA. Tunes like Spank ‘Oh Baby’, Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince ‘Girls Ain’t Nothin’ But Trouble’, Salt ‘N Pepa ‘Push it’ & Rene & Angela ‘Secret Rendezvous’.

As musical taste evolved Champion aligned itself with the early house and garage movement. It produced iconic tracks including Raze’s ‘Break 4 Love’, Robin S ‘Show Me Love’, Sandy B ‘Make The World Go Round’, Kristine W ‘Feel What You Want’ & Sybil ‘Don’t Make me Over’. These then turned into some of the most famous & credible artists in the world along with DJ’s like Todd Terry, Kerri Chandler, Junior Vasquez and Stonebridge.
