There is Absouletly no way that Hip Hop in Columbus Ohio can't be mentioned without radio pioneers Charm and Rallo (OKA NYK T &amp; Quik C). While interning on Wednesdays, before Sunrise Broadcasting, And Blue Chip Broadcasting, and Way Before Radio One there was Black Radio Owner Jack Harris and his mega empire of "WCKX 106.3 Where the Point Makes The Difference", .3(Point Three)Night Club, and Papa Jacks's on Spring Street. I mean who was able to spin whatever records they wanted to back in the days at Papa Jack's orignal WCKX the original 106.3 Radio in Columbus Ohio. DJ's Madame X, Pony, Caz, Club Dragon, Sean Banks, Kid Magic Rock, CTNT Cable Radio, Lady J,DJ Slappy, Cousin It, Dope Beat Specialist (J Rawls, BUKA, Dwayne), Construction 360, and Young Lil Man(aka)DJ Lil Man, DJ Wiz. Who were the first Jocks on Columbus Radio to have live DJ's On the 1's &amp; 2's spinning with live freestyles over the air waves of Columbus Radio. The other stations at that time were having CD's FEDEXED to the station while their DJ's from NY fronted like it was live but truly was was all on a Memorex CD-R. Then took it back to the stage once again on WSMZ Z103.1 FM and tried to bring it to Columbus again when WCKX was doing way bigger thangs, we still set the pace for hip hop in Columbus. Before XXL MAG got to be where it is today, Charm &amp; Rallo were the 1st show to have a segment of their radio show sponsored by XXL Mag back then. We also introduced to the world the youngest rapper from C.O. (Yes for anybody who thinks that BOW WOW was 1st) to the mic who was actually an MC. None other than Hip Hop Pioneers Charm and Rallo.
