"Expand Rebel Accomplish says it all" says the young lyricist. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Champ Loco is an up and coming artist bringing flavor, creativity and soul to hip hop music. With music being his first love, the young lyricist spent most of his school days perfecting and mastering his talent in hope of becoming a well known figure in the hip hop community. “Music is my passion I love everything about it, not only does it allow self expression but it also builds character. In my opinion an individual would be lost without these two elements”. Most of the young artist’s inspiration came from legendary hip hop figure Tu pac Shakur and revolutionary hero Malcolm X. Tu pac's music was something he understood very well and spent a lot of his time listening to, “he gave me my stepping stone. His music taught me not only could I get through any obstacle in life but with a little bit of hard work and dedication I can also accomplish anything I set my mind to”. Through his music Champ encourages people to develop the idea that “by any means necessary” anything can be accomplished. With confidence in the diversity of his music Champ says "My music connects to your emotions. When you listen to my music you are able to intake certain concepts that occur in everyday life to everyday people, this allows my music to be relatable”. When asked how do you see yourself Champ simply answered “I'm just the average guy from Brooklyn but what sets me apart from the rest is that I'm capable of the worst but I choose to walk a different path. Still, I experienced the same highs and lows as everyone else and used it as an inspirational muse for my music”. With his music he hopes to instill a new light on life, maybe even inspire our new generation. He closed the chapter by reminding us that "Pac said it the best 'I'm not saying I'm going to change the world, but I guarantee I will spark the brain that will’”.
