Steffen Friedrich alias Filburt belongs to that tireless network which is responsible for pushing Leipzig to the famous address for electronic music, it is today. Being active as a host and Dj since the beginning of the last decade, he led the regional record shop Freezone for many years, which became Kann Records later on. Steffen especially became popular as a producer together with Good Guy Mikesh with records for Permanent Vacation and Mirau, as well as solo or in combination with Ron Deacon as RDF. Since 2011 he focuses on his own label O*RS, where he mainly puplishes music from artists located in his hometown.
