After being a standout track on the Buena Onda compilation last year, up-and-coming Italian Feel Fly's 'Esperanto' now gets a standalone digital release next to new mixes from Gallo and Marcoradi.

Daniele Tomassini aka Feel Fly has been making lovely Balearic waves on International Feel, Internasjonal and New Interplanetary Melodies is also the co-founder of the mysterious Afro Templum party. He hails from Perugia and as well as DJing and producing, he composes for theatre and cinema and plays as part of several live and studio bands. His majestic 'Esperanto' soon lifts you off your feet with its sweeping drums and gentle acoustic guitar riffs. The whole thing is doused in big, lush chords that wash over you and brings waves of gentle euphoria.

Then comes a classic, stripped-out Tropical Hinterhof remix by label mainstay Gallo. It is almost eight minutes of blissed-out ambient-disco that has you gazing at a cloudless blue sky. Majestic synth patterns ripple way up above and suspend you in a soothing state of mind before dreamy breaks begin to tumble and carry you to the next level.

The second mix comes from Marcoradi, who works on labels like Claremont 56 as Hear & Now with Ricky L , and is widely thought of as one of the best and most prolific Balearic production duos to have emerged from Italy in the last year. In solo mode, he flips 'Esperanto' into a widescreen Italo disco pumper with silvery arps, dusty claps and arching pads that seem to go on forever.

All three of these tracks are summer-ready jams for open-air dancing.

We continue our series of obscure dope folk music with a mix by Lüle from Belgrad, Serbia. He's part of the music project Kompleks and also running parties at Belgrad's most famous club "Klub 20/44" called  Opskura.

Full bio: 

Lüle aka Bojan Gajić is present on club scene since 1999. As a DJ, producer, live act, one-man show, the duo, radio host... Currently he is working under alias Kompleks, project created back in 2007, alongside Nebojša Bogdanović (Schwabe). They are known for their edits, as well as live performances. So far, they’ve released 6 vinyls and a large number of digital releases. They are very proud on their collaboration with Theo Parrish, later released on Far Out Recordings as limited edition *12” vinyl. *Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra – Keep Believing (Can You Feel It) With Kompleks (or solo under alias Lüle), he performed in Belgrade and all major cities in Serbia. Foreign booking came from Russia, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina... He is one of the first residents in the infamous underground club Boat 20/44.

Rauris Leto, born in Dresden and is staying for his studies in Görlitz, didn’t just rock and win the DAVE DJ-Contest in 2015, but is also part of the „Tropical Schmutz“-Crew, who regularly arranges experimental raves in Dresden‘s local clubs. Speaking of „experimental“, this is how Rauris Leto’s sound could be described best, including – from Disco, Acid-House, Dubstep to Jungle – simply everything that brings joy to the dancefloor.

The 45th instalment of the Champloo Music Podcast will take you on the musical journey at the hands of Møreti from Praha, Czech. 

The modest presence of Møreti is in a stark contrast with his influence on his generation of artists and dancers. He has gained a cult following via the party series Magion and MUAH as well as the club Café Sklenick he was in charge of. It was in these places where a number of artists affiliated with Giegling, Kann, Smallville and Uncanny Valley performed their Czech debuts and around which a microcosmos of local like-minded artists and die-hard fans grew. When in a club, Møreti delivers a pacific, cultivated selection of Techno, while in chill out rooms he tends towards anomalous and obscure records.

Our new Champloo Music podcast is made by Scratchynski from Dresden, Germany. 

Being a DJ since 1998, Scratchynski's musical journey startet with techno and faded to house in the early 2000s. From 2008 Dubstep and Grime dominated his musical interests, what led to the monthly series "Sub der Republik", from which the Sub Sickness crew emerged, that strongly influenced the Dresden bass music scene with top-class guest performances by Mala, Om Unit, Kahn, Eprom and many more. But since musical style boundaries were never Scratchynski's thing, electronically infected Hip Hop á la Flying Lotus, Eprom, Gaslamp Killer etc. in connection with the first Footwork releases already met wide open ears at this time. This is especially true for Funky Monkey, when Scratchynski, DNZ and east enter the DJ Spaceship and play entire nights together on 4 decks and 3 mixers. Solo, his sets are characterized by all the influences that shaped his musical path - an eclectic mix of HipHop, Glitch, Juke, Future Beatz and a good portion of bass. You can hear it regularly on the Infinite Sequence series and the corresponding monthly podcast. Besides his activities as DJ and promoter, Scratchynski is one of the founders of the Dresden based DAVE Festival.
