Synopsis: A frenetic backseat fumble with electropop riding over some dirty bass and thumping rhythms.

This song captures 3 minutes and 30 seconds roughly 1 hour after you've taken shrooms for the first time. There's a mixture of anticipation and excitement coupled with a distant nag in your head that's trying to tell you that this may not have been such the best idea (Your own level of nervous disposition dictates exactly how severe this sensation is). The song takes you down one of two paths at this point - the good, laughy, fun, happy path or the other path (we don't like to talk or think about the other path).

I reworked this track recently (March 2011) with a fantastic female vocalist, Uschi Bittner as well as adding some Super BassStation pumping synth to give it a more euphoric, pop edge.

About the track:

The vocals are through the eyes of someone who tries to judge other people obsessively. Constantly over thinking social interactions, they jump to the darkest, most paranoid conclusions about individuals. Everyone becomes a threat and in working out friends from enemies, their mind is split into arguing factions that fire from all directions.

The tech:

Recorded/Produced in Ableton Live Suite 8. The beats are all constructed on an MPC500. Synths are a mixture of outboard (Korg MS2000 & DSI Tetr4) and Ableton Live/other soft synths.
