DOTA2 Reborn

Man of Valor for String Quartet, performed on the opening gala of Brightmusic’s 2015 Summer Festival and dedicated to the good deeds of Dick Sias and his beloved wife, Jeannette Joullian Sias, of blessed memory. Across the decades, the Siases supported the arts in Oklahoma, adding color and vibrance to the cultural tapestry of this great state. The main theme was inspired by Rabbi Ben Zion Shenker's setting of Eshet Chayil’s poem “Woman of Valor” from the Book of Proverbs (31:10-31). This passage is recited every Friday evening, as the Shabbat meal unfolds, from the husband to the wife, to honor and praise her and her everyday deeds.

Man Of Valor for String Quartet - 1. Prelude & Fugue

This track tells of the beginning of conflict, with ancient war horns sounding in the distance, drums pounding out a battle cadence, and the orchestra digging in to challenge the chaos horde.  The horns carry the theme, repeated across the score throughout the game.

PRELUDE TO WAR - from Warhammer Chaosbane

This track prominently features Legion Series 33 Drummers for all percussion, which contains over 100.000 percussion samples divided over 88 different percussion instruments.  The track is also heavily featuring our 66 Trombone Ensemble and samples from our upcoming Bible of Salsa release, which is the most extensive recordings ever done of high-end Salsa ensemble and solo players.

The track is inspired by Alan Silvestri's Predator 2 score, which contains gorgeous percussion ensembles w/ Alex Acuna and overall one of my favorite scores of all time.
