Ken’s (Wolfgang Amadidas) interests in spaced out electronic music date back to a high school obsession with Krautrock and ambient acts like Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. After college Ken threw himself into Chicago’s local dance scene, frequenting underground events and helping organize loft parties with the Support System crew. As Support System started winding down he started the Moments In Love @moments_in_love, a party/mix series focused on balearic, cosmic, and left-field dance music, Pulling from a deep well of knowledge gained from late night discogs dives and working at Gramaphone Records, Ken’s DJ sets are eclectic journeys inspired equally by the music of Chicago as well as UK/European DJs like Andrew Weatherall, Daniele Baldelli, and DJ Harvey. Ken’s mix is a tribute to two legendary DJs we lost over the pandemic: Jose Padilla and Andrew Weatherall.
