The time has finally come to kickstart the “CadetCast” series and what a way to kick it off with the one and only eja aje. 

I’m sure most of you know of him by now and if you don’t then seriously have a dig on his channel if you want to go down a rabbit hole of rare progressive gems. 

Eja’s really stuck to his guns and showed us he really is the maestro of Progressive house, trance and everything in-between.

CadetCast 1 - eja aje

These must have been the quickest 3,5 hours I ever played somewhere. The room filled up so fast right after Het Muzieklokaal opened it’s doors at 1AM. For me this is surely one of the most memorable club shows I have ever done. My approach was very housey and is somehow already different from where I'm at now musically. De School has really inspired me musically since their opening in 2016, playing here was a dream coming true. I won't forget being surrounded by so many friends that came to see my debut. All memories still make me smile. 

I miss De School!

This mix was recorded at home on two Technics 1210's and an Allan & Heath Xone 23. The selection begins with a handful of breakbeat records then moves into UKG for the main body and finishes with speed garage and 4x4. Many of the tracks are recent digs picked up during the lockdown. Shouts to all the crew.
