Another bustling selection of techno burners are offered up on the latest KPAINS compilation.  Released on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label, the sixth instalment pulls together seven bangers from some of the scene’s exciting new talents.

The harder side of the genre is represented here by the likes of Jayne Veronica and Uakoz, whilst wobbly acid & bleep vibes are served up by M.F.S: Observatory and DUFAUX.  

Regular Kneaded Pains artist Melody’s Enemy comes correct with a new production, whilst Mik&Ale and Jordan Peak complete the set with a couple of techno rattlers.

Medellin in Colombia is fast becoming a major destination on the techno scene, with globally renowned events, DJs and artists emerging. Marck D is one such artist that has been flying the flag for this blossoming scene, and his debut EP for EI8HT encapsulates this talented producer’s elemental style.

Four bangers are served up on Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s label and follows up recent releases for labels such as Unity Records, Tronic and Unrilis.  The ‘Sensation’ EP is choc-full of jackin’ and raw techno cuts, fashioned for the dancefloor and delivered with more bounce to the ounce!

We premiere new grassroots techno from Alan Martin as he presents his debut EP ‘Showdown.’ We showcase the title track as Alan exudes big-room stomping energy through striking dub chords and pounding percussive workouts.

Alan Martin‘s electronic music journey began in 2006 when his father introduced him to Technics SL1200 and records. The youngster soon began experimenting with a ghetto blaster and this turntable and ended up making some decent-sounding mixes, according to YouTube user ‘ellaskins’ aka DJ. Tutor.  Alan later purchased his own set of Gemini turntables before moving into the world of digital some years later.

Outside of DJing Alan began making music in 2009 through FL Studio. Earlier tracks came in the style of hard house and abrasive rhythms associated with the old-school Irish scene. In more recent years Alan house & techno has moved into the world of house & techno taking inspiration from the European scene.

We premiere the slick lead track ‘Showdown’ from Alan’s debut EP as he hones in on the classic 909 & 808 sound, curating a hard-edged and relentless drum workout. Alan continues to push a classic style through the use of Detroit-style dub chords created on a UAD Moog synth. This is a big-room techno bomb cooked to perfection.

Vica es una DJ y productora que a la hora de desarrollar sus sets busca generar un buen clima para armar y envolver la pista mediante una selección musical dinámica, la cual varía en cada presentación destacando el constante groove, utilizando sonidos tales como el hardgroove, tribal y house.

Hace poco tiempo dio inicio a su carrera como productora con el aka “Avrill” editando en trucking records, en un V.A de Teqwave Records y en Xelima Records.
 
Actualmente se encuentra realizando un EP con un nuevo sonido y un nuevo aka.
