Chanelle Faith Hoorne, professionally known as Chanelle Hoorne is a South African singer, song-writer, pianist and composer.   She began her career back in 2009 when she collaborated with several local DJ’s and producers before joining 'The Fly Chix’ reality show in 2012. She then landed a role in the short film 'Two Choices’ which got nominated at the Durban Film Festival in 2013.  She has also appeared in several television shows and have done print for  Ponds SA.  Last year, Chanelle campaigned for Fuze Ice Tea and Fanta SA and has recently campaigned for the 1701 Nougat Brand. Chanelle’s music career began when she started playing piano at the age of 7.  She composes her own music and is the author to most of her songs.   She launched her 'Bad Habit EP’ in December 2016,  which is currently available on iTunes.  The music video to her debut single 'Own It’ is available  on YouTube.  Chanelle performed on shows such as Expresso, YO TV and Club 808 to mention a few.  She recently guest presentented a music show on Soweto TV 
called ‘Kasi Vibes’..  Chanelle performed at the Fabulous Woman Awards 2017 early August and had her own LIVE session on YFM’s #LiveNReYired a few days thereafter.  She is currently working on her long awaited album whilst collaborating with several musicians locally and abroad.  Besides the club scene performances, Chanelle unplugs her talent at several corporate and government gigs.  Music
is definately her escape.
