RISERS 02 | Janika Tenn

London-based producer Lucas Harrington drops his new two-track ‘All The Time EP’ on OVAVA Music. The EP blends Deep House, electronic, and Afro House influences, with the title track combining Afro House rhythms and Amapiano-inspired bounce, while ‘Latenite’ delivers a darker, peak-time energy. At just 19, Harrington’s productions fuse emotional depth with precise, dancefloor-ready sound design, reflecting a cosmopolitan sensibility.

‘All The Time EP’ is OVAVA Music’s 12th release, continuing the label’s reputation for curating forward-thinking underground electronic music. Hartwig is an up and coming Paris-based DJ/producer. His musical journey takes its roots in a strong emotional quest and a true passion for sharing music with others, from a wide range of genres. He started Djing 7 years ago and started producing Hard Trance 4 years ago, learning more about sound while working in acoustics & digital signal processing. As his passion grew, he then decided to quit his job to dedicate himself to production this year.

Loose Records presents its Loose Limited Series, which focuses on abstract electronic music that pushes boundaries without losing sight of the dance floor.

This release is by Convoke, and it features two techno tracks that combine industrial breakbeats with ambient pads to create immersive grooves that have a dystopian vibe.

Convoke has been making electronic music since the '90s and throughout that time has embraced multiple different styles. Based in Brighton (UK), he has produced music under a variety of different aliases, and these tracks are an amalgamation of his decades long career.

The title track "Nothing Stays the Same" opens the release with tense bass chords and trippy vocals underpinned by a heavy kick drum and flickers of acid. Track two, "New Frontier," has expansive pads stretched over a throbbing bassline and crunching breakbeats.

About Convoke

Convoke is a UK techno producer. He started recording electronica, rave and techno tracks back in the early 90's for labels such as Groove as you Move, Immortal, Cabal Recordings and Mass of Black. Between 1998 and 2003 he co-ran Detroit techno inspired Stripe Records and breakbeat/electro label Circular Orbit Records recording and producing under aliases Parsec, Lunar, ArCoN, Bizarre Groove & Phon. Now back in the studio as Convoke fusing infectious beats, euphoric melodies and pulsating energy, Convoke's music transcends genre boundaries and takes listeners on a sonic dancefloor journey like no other.

Milan’s underground has long been a breeding ground for innovation, but few artists have approached techno with the forensic precision and narrative intent of HydraTek, the alias of Italian producer and sound designer Fabio Gotti.

Once known for cinematic bass music that fused post-dubstep with filmic ambience, HydraTek now channels that same storytelling instinct into a darker, hypnotic strain of techno designed to move both body and mind.

“I’m constantly evolving as an artist,” he says. “Genres are just tools for expressing emotion. Techno became my gravitational centre - it’s where my fascination with dark tones, cinematic storytelling and sound design all align.” That transformation wasn’t abrupt; it grew organically from earlier experiments in ambient and bass-heavy soundscapes. “What I once called ‘Cinematic Bass Music’ was my hybrid of post-dubstep and neurofunk D&B,” he explains. “That kaleidoscopic background still defines me - I see music, like all art, as a beautiful contamination of patterns and ideas.”

The Italian connection runs deep. While HydraTek’s technical discipline nods to the UK’s underground, the passion and drama that define his productions feel distinctly Mediterranean. “There’s a natural intensity and emotional depth in Italian art and design,” he says. “It inevitably filters into my music.”

CU TECHNO 02 | HydraTek

Risers returns with Indian DJ and producer Migrant. Known for his emotive sound design, Migrant has quickly gained attention across the global underground. His journey into electronic music began during years of solo travel, composing to fill quiet hours between destinations.

A pivotal meeting with Four Tet at Magnetic Fields Festival transformed this personal pastime into a professional pursuit. Migrant’s signature sound now fuses organic warmth with hypnotic, club-ready energy, creating music equally at home on a sunrise dancefloor or in reflective solitude.

This mix coincides with the release of his new single “Anahata” (October 31), inspired by the Sanskrit term for the heart chakra and exploring the balance between chaos and calm. The Risers set mirrors this duality, delivering fluid, emotionally charged, rhythmically precise tracks that prioritize connection over spectacle.

Outside the studio, Migrant founded Belong Festival in Jaisalmer, a desert event celebrating underground electronic music and community. Through each performance and release, he continues to shape a sound that bridges the personal and the transcendent, establishing himself as one of India’s most compelling emerging voices in electronic music.

RISERS 03 | Migrant

Great art often emerges from the union of opposites, where differences collide to create something truly unique. For Gray Cosmo, a Turin-based techno duo, this dynamic is at the core of their music. Alex and Andrea met in 2021 - not through music, but on the tennis courts. “We bonded over music before we even shared a studio,” they recall. That spontaneous connection grew into curiosity, experimentation, and eventually a sound that felt uniquely theirs.

Alex, a classically trained pianist, brings precision and harmony, while Andrea, a seasoned DJ from Turin’s underground scene, contributes raw energy and instinct. “Our contrast is our strength: one brings structure and harmony, the other brings instinct and raw energy. The balance between the two creates the identity of Gray Cosmo.”

The duo’s name reflects the environment of their earliest sessions. Turin’s grey winters, cold and cinematic, naturally seep into their sound, giving their tracks a subtle undercurrent of melancholy. Their music is a careful blend of emotive melodies and kinetic rhythms, guided entirely by studio intuition. “Some ideas demand space and introspection; others naturally push toward movement and tension,” they explain.

In a Barcelona home pulsing with the early sounds of DJ Sisu, Dany BPM, and Javi Boss, a young Nekrohard learned that intensity in music is more than volume.
“Those artists were literally the soundtrack of my home… Sisu taught me feeling within electronic music, Dany BPM the power of clear, addictive rhythm, and Javi Boss that intensity that breaks through walls,” he recalls. The lessons were subtle but profound: rhythm, emotion, and narrative could hit harder than any speaker. It was the foundation for a lifetime obsession with sound.Portable speakers

His first experiments with transforming feeling into music came through a childhood rap group. Vulnerability became rhythm, and words became release. “It was my first school of artistic honesty… there is no sound without emotion behind it,” he reflects. Life, however, had other plans. Responsibilities, work, and study pulled him away from music. The obsession became a memory, dormant yet unbroken.

The path into techno rarely begins quietly, and for AYDN it opened with a jolt inside Manchester’s Hidden. He can still picture the exact lineup. Holeigh. Kander while still a duo. Viper Diva in full euphoric stride. The night altered his sense of what music could do. The drums hit with intent, the synth work felt unnervingly alien, and the atmosphere carried a charge he had never experienced. That collision of energy marked the starting point. A new chapter, as AYDN frames it, began the moment he walked out of that room.

From there he became a familiar face inside the Northwestern underground. Nights run by HOL, Blasha, and the Meat Free collective gave him a clear view of techno as something larger than a set of stylistic codes. The impact came from unity and presence. People dropped their guard. The room acted as a single organism. That environment taught him immersion long before he ever produced a track.

Loose Records present Gabrielle’s latest hypnotic techno release, where analogue grooves meet immersive, otherworldly atmospherics.

Berlin-based DJ and live performer Gabrielle has rapidly made her mark on the city’s scene, commanding stages at venues such as Tresor and HÖR. Her machine-driven approach harnesses modular hardware, producing tracks that balance propulsive energy with dub-infused melodies.

At the heart of her sound lie rippling tones and stripped-back rhythms, marrying raw intensity with refined elegance. Gabrielle’s intricate synth work weaves seamlessly with dynamic percussion, crafting tracks that are both hypnotic and exhilarating.

The release opens with the atmospheric “Flourish,” flowing into the swirling tension of “Silent Hill.” “Consequence” unfolds as a slow burner centered on a deceptively simple melody, while “Running Late” elevates the energy with industrial textures and ominous pads. “Acceptance” layers bleeping synths over commanding drums for a spacious groove, and the release concludes with “A Blurred Fragment,” a dystopian soundscape punctuated by fractured percussion.

Tokyo-based techno DJ and producer Nobuharu Morimoto makes his debut on Unrilis with a hypnotic EP defined by flowing rhythms and immersive soundscapes. A fixture of the city’s underground scene, he holds residencies at two of Tokyo’s premier techno events, plug and OUTSIDER, delivering sets that span Detroit-inspired deep techno to high-energy, driving tracks.

Following releases on respected labels, Morimoto now joins Unrilis with a refined and emotionally charged sonic approach. The EP opens with “Soramakase,” built around a rolling groove, pulsating bass, and muffled vocals, layered with dystopian pads that heighten tension, while the breakdown introduces rising jazzy chords.

Rising Manchester-based artist AYDN has a new EP in the works. The 4-track digital project, titled Warped Dimensions, will be released via NLI’s ADHESIVE on 18th December.

Whilst discovering his passion for the underground, AYDN would regularly attend shows in his adopted Northwestern city hosted by leading UK techno collectives like HOL and the Blasha and Allat-fronted Meat Free. It was at these parties a young AYDN would develop a love for hypnotising synth, intense atmospheres, and euphoric melodies - promising to himself that he would one day become more than just a face in the crowd.

Warped Dimensions from the EP marks a bold statement from AYDN, diving deep into the darker, more cerebral corners of techno. The EP explores the tension between structure and chaos, using pulsating low-end frequencies, evolving textures, and hypnotic rhythms to craft an immersive, cinematic experience.

JXJ is shaping a hard techno profile built on precision, force and unfiltered impact.
Born in Merseyside, JXJ has constructed a sonic identity through exacting sound design, heavy kicks and dominant basslines that cut through club systems with intent. His tracks operate at the meeting point of industrial aggression and hypnotic propulsion, a combination that has drawn support from Fatima Hajji, Juliet Fox, Nineted, Novah, Lex Ledu and Gallo. That momentum runs parallel to a large vault of unreleased work planned for 2026, signalling a producer preparing for a wider push onto global stages.

Ōtautahi, New Zealand might not be the first city that comes to mind when thinking of hard-hitting techno, but for Chole, always been fertile ground.

Growing up in the 03, Chole was immersed in a vibrant arts community that encouraged exploration. Classical instruments at seven taught her the structures and theory behind music, laying a foundation that would later underpin her pulsing, 4x4-driven sets. “Music is a beautiful blackhole, possibilities are infinite,” she reflects, crediting her early training with giving her a vocabulary to articulate sound.

Her introduction to hard techno came almost by accident during her time in Dunedin in 2023. A friend recommended a Lily Palmer set recorded live at the European Space Agency for Drumcode Radio, and for Chole, it was a revelation. “It was so new to us, we had never heard anything like it in New Zealand, and that was it, there was no going back.” The discovery ignited a passion that would quickly propel her from bedroom DJing to festival stages.
