To put it simply, The Silver Rider is one amazing dude. One of the sweetest guys in the industry, he has a marvelous way of bringing his wonderful smile into every track he has a hand in. He's got releases on all of the best labels around the world, the most recent of which hail from the studio in his 3rd generation Texas farmstead (which you can read more about here: https://www.magneticmag.com/2017/09/the-silver-rider-disco-rancher/ ). Adding to his impressive discogs listing, The Silver Rider has a forthcoming release on Lovedancing titled "Farm to Tables." Very on theme, Davey! This stellar record drops on October 26th and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

"All I Do" is a wonderful piece of disco house. Approachable with it's 4-4 and claps, the brightness is augmented by the relative simplicity of the production. The lack of unnecessary features allows for us listeners to pay attention to and fall in love with the beautiful, dreamy vocal samples used throughout. As the track takes full form with a tinge of winds and strings, it instills a glorious dreamlike stupor.

Ed Ayers started his career as a studio session trumpet player in the late 50s. Playing with names like Aretha Franklin, Roy Ayers and Herbie Hancock amongst others. He became one of the most looked after session musicians and a "must have"in any studio recording of a wind section.  In the 70s he acquired great arranging skills, writing great pieces for many of the big names in the music scene. He also acquired a deep understanding of a diverse range of synthesizers, drum machines and other analog gadgets. 

In the mid 80´s while djing as a stand in for Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage (while Larry was snorting heroin with Grace Jones) he became one of the big underground names of the proto house scene. On one of the legendary nights he span records, he met no other then his future wife Agneta Fältskog (also known as one of the ABBA members) Together they moved to Stockholm and made loads of babies.

Now days he spends most of his time doing re edits of his favorite tracks and circuit bending all of his VST plugins. As he recently been diagnosed with acute schizophrenia, his therapist recommended working on his new label Subsoil Recordings and its releases as a mean to not become totally "insane"

He is off course still available for Dj/remixing (and children parties).
