Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore CDIV, the Impossible/Dirty Hacker ending, details an ending in which a curious player messes with code to make a certain boss both dead and alive at the same time. The results are...illogical. Humans are to be treated as threats to the timeline above all else, and that is a crime punishable by death.
If you're curious on the AU name, all the Aftergores are numbered with Roman numerals. "CDIV" translates to "404."

Gaster takes the role of Asgore. With anomalies abound, he manages to rise from his existential prison and take over a disoriented Underground. This will make the road ahead...very interesting.

Aftergore V, the King Mettaton ending, details an ending in which Asgore, Toriel, and Undyne are all slain, leaving Mettaton next in line for the throne. He's turned the Underground into an aesthetic corporate dystopian paradise. Humans are to be invited to join his Fan Club. And if they reject it, they die.

Napstablook takes the role of Toriel. The Underground has gotten much too noisy for them ever since their cousin's takeover, so they've decided to hide away in the Ruins and make it their own special quiet place. All other monsters who value peace and quiet have joined them, and this is now the one place free from Mettaton's quite literal iron grip.
