Disko Promillo Tape 017 – Delia Plangg

Days getting shorter - nights getting longer, to master the time transition to the dark side of the year we start right now with a dance workout, Disko Promillo Tape 017 by Delia Plangg. 
The dj, producer and singer Delia Plangg is born in Dresden and grew up in a musical family between Dresden and Berlin. As a 90’s kid, she loved surfing between different genres and discovered the diversity of electronic music. In her early days she started singing in choirs and bands, but also took piano lessons. Later on, she also started studying ‘cultural studies and music management’ and ‘popular music and media’ in Jena, Weimar and Paderborn.
In 2016 she started her first electronic music project in Dresden, called: “Projekt BR” with 3 other artists. They produced deep, bassy and rough sounds to develop new sounds of dubstep, drumstep and electro-house. Since that she improved her djing and producing skills. Delia released several synthwave tracks with UfoGuy, a Dresden based producer and other regional artists. In 2019 she started organizing a party series together with Martin Saupe in the club TBA in Dresden and became a resident of the Berlin collective Johnny Knüppel. Since 2022 she is also part of the Halle based club and collective Station Endlos.
Delia still prefers thinking outside the box and likes to mix different genres and styles of music, like deep melodic house, dark disco and indie dance.

New Year’s Eve is already over and time is passing by like we are on fast forward. While recovering from a ridiculous celebration of the last hours in 2022, the Zehlendorfer Disco Squad took their time to get you the groove of 2023 with some Cosmic Disco tunes in Disko Promillo Tape 019 by Zehlendorfer Disco Squad.

Born and raised in the early nineties in southwest Berlin, these two did not yet know that their paths would once cross one another. 25 years and plenty of DJ-Gigs later, they stood next to one another at a home party in Zehlendorf. The circumstances were not the best: really old CDJs, an extremely small DJ booth and another Covid lockdown about to occur. However, they had a bag full of cosmic tunes, their Disco-finger on lock and a Rhubarb-Prosecco-Mixture filled in their glasses. Since then, the two have been drifting around weightlessly between Cosmic-, Dark- and Astrological Disco.

In the last couple of years the Zehlendorfer Disco Squad has been playing at festivals such as Feel Festival, Evolution Festival and Hive Festival. In the new year they will be starting their own Party Series: "Disco Futurismo" - with the kickoff at Crack Bellmer Club Berlin on the 19.01.2023 - full warp ahead!

L’amour, toujours. BolognaExzess is sending us some love straight from Leipzig in Germany. The duo is is sharing that bubbly sound that makes you want to fly on a spaceship with an expensive champagne bottle on your laps. Maybe that will be possible in the future but in the meantime they are making the city dance no matter what’s the venue. Ice hockey stadium ? Ok. Putting the decks on an ironing board and dancing outside ? Cool. But don’t worry they are also playing in “regular” venues ;)

The Roller Party took place at the well-known Parisian place Le 6b. This location really gave me Berlin vibes. Intimacy, playful and caring atmosphere, accessibility(prices and people)and a lovely crowd - that's what the party was about. In the beginning there were also a lot of parents with their kids playing around. People got access to free roller skates and candy floss was included with the tickets ! 🍬 And for the beginners they had a free roller skating teaching class. 

Thank you, Florentine Candy Club, for the invitation and making my first gig outside of Germany come true! And also a big thanks to the crowd, you were amazing! 

I will always remember this one! ❤️
