After 2 days making reeds for the bass drone I finally got one to work!  But only for a while and it caved in :(
All the reeds work beautifully in B but are refusing to go any higher than B – I want C!
We'll get there...
Billy H. says that a narrower reed will bring up the pitch and this one is tiny!  Sounds good but isn't stable.
But what a fantastic wild sound!!'
