This duo was founded in 2018 as a "working band" to create a distinctive style of expression through regular rehearsals. "pitching hole's" music does not fit into conventional pigeonholes. Coupled with the risk of better failure, Kolberg and Zoepf succeed time and again in creating moments of surprise which, in an age of technical reproducibility, produce a freshness beyond virtuoso showpieces.
