This was my share on the first practice session hosted by Ecstatic Dance Maastricht. Also my first gig as a DJ! Together with two other starting ecstatic dance dj's we created a full journey containing three waves. I was in the middle with this 45 min wave. I am very happy to share this first bit in (heart)beats of my personal journey, called 'DreamInMotion'

Under the bloodmoon of september arised perfectionism as an all-encompassing quality of the universe. Perfection that encompasses imperfectionism. 

An upload that captures my discomfort in learning processes, being vulnerable but pure as can be. 

Ecstatic Dance - Bloodmoon

With a deep love for dancing and beats, i recently embarked on an inner journey that led to an Ecstatic Dance set, together with two other starting DJs. Playing this set, standing behind the decks felt like coming home. A reminder of something that lay deeply buried beneath other layers that life had shown so far. 

The music i select is something i want to feel with every fiber of my being. My cells talk and move. Thus with each set, i have the feeling i share something of myself. 
The dance floor, as a reflection of daily life, offers unlimited possibilities to express what wants to be moved. For me, it is a space; 
to be respected,  
where the dancers are central, 
where we co-create.
