I wrote this song early this year, shortly after my world, reason for living, 4 year old dog Oliver was murdered by my housemate at the time. The heartache, emotional torment, overwhelming sense of defeat I felt and still feel, and the feeling of never being able to get over the trauma.

I write to express, not to impress. My music is an extension of me, of everything I feel and fear I may never be.

Singing and writing since a young age music has always been a big part of who I am, not only as a coping strategy but also as a form of connection to the world, nature, people around me, and to myself. Often I’m asked what genre I am and the truth is I have no clue. Growing up with a diversity of musical influences I’ve learnt to write in a way I don’t think about boxes and the people in them that may or may not like my work, I write to make others feel, to think, to grow, to learn.
Sometimes we need to sit in the dark and adjust to the light, and I hope my music brings that.


This year is my year for stepping up, re-doing old songs whilst writing new ones, producing and re-recording, coming up with music video concepts and starting the final process of filming and editing...
