Founder: Darryl “Darrol Noah” Farrar has been dubbed pop culture’s “Creative Luminary,” a multi-faceted persona that is captivating airwaves with his original music, stellar graphic design and photography, and more recently, his capsule clothing collection called The Darrol Noah Company. His rise to fame began at age 14 when he gained a large following through the popular social media platform Myspace. Since then, his momentum hasn’t slowed.

Darrol’s beginnings started in the church, where he discovered his standout vocal abilities. His mother was a singer. His dad was a disc jockey. His musical fate was inevitable. By age seven, he was crooning to his favorite musical influences which he calls the “Five A’s” which includes Al Green, Anita O’Day, Anita Baker, Amy Winehouse, and Aaliyah. As he got older, Darrol continued channeling R&B, writing and producing his own original music while recording professionally.

Darrol gained his notoriety through accumulating a large following from popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Myspace and Tumblr. Known for his quirky and eccentric Instagram shots. The trendy muse captures his everyday happenings through images of city landscapes all the way to artsy hole-in-the-wall thrift stores. His innate ability to eye the beauty and art in everyday things garnered the attention of the industry and artists alike. Since the Darrol Noah discovery, the creative luminary has landed work with celebrities including Milyn Jensen, Nate Walker, Cassidy, and Smoke DZA. He has worked on projects featured in Philadelphia Fashion Week and Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week. Additionally his work has been featured in outlets such as BE Magazine, Pradagee, Kevin Nottingham, Racked, Lucky Magazine, McKinzie Chic and many more.

Creation of Chant: In 2015, Darrol Noah decided to tether a team of writers & music fanatics to assemble a website both endearing to its reader, web friendly & user friendly. Chant was the name chosen because Noah wants it to “ring in your head”. The online publication’s main focus is to hone in on true artist & furthermore break down or explain their colorful lyrics. Chant also will be releasing periodic promotional photos to feature in a yearly magazine photo booklet. Chant is dedicated to bringing the best music to its readers and avoiding the propaganda & negativity brought on by media. Good vibes only.
