Simply magnificent. When I first played this, a wave of familiarity hit as memories of adventures gone by flowed into me like the waterfall on this very island. Not only that, but it felt as if the very series itself was waking up from a 5-6 year long coma; a rebirth of a legend spanning 30+ years. I may be just a casual fan who cares not for the fan-art and the memes, but I sure as hell respect Sega and Sonic Team for actually trying and giving some effort, and this track more than proves that a bombastic sequel that we all know is coming is sure to be just as if not more legendary than this.
