Matt and Amber are being genre snobs in assuming that a comic book movie must be not serious.  Some of the most impactful, eye-opening fiction I've ever read was in comics, specifically 200AD, as well as the work of Alan Moore, Harvey Pekar etc.  They're just unfamiliar with the material.

Seeing the news try to will multiple Aurora shootings into existence owned, and anyone who tries to review a movie about an evil clown is, in fact, bad.

Just saw this.  I do not think that they conveyed just how crappy it made me feel.  90 minutes of misery porn with no real payoff.  Even the supposedly great ‘Gary Glitter’ scene had about 15 seconds of ‘Rock and Roll Part 2’ before returning, mid-dance, to that unbearable string drone.  I get two movies a year and I am sick of leaving feeling terrible!  There was only one funny joke.

In this week's episode we consider the Coen Bros worthy, father-son kidnap caper of Michael Flynn Jr. & Sr. and Gulen, break down all of Tuesday's election results, each consider running for office, read about Greta Van Susteren's new APP, and finally, Matt and Virgil make another bet.
