"Why did it get scrapped?!" I asked them not to use it, for several reasons. Mainly, the way replacing Nerdly's stuff was handled put me off and made me not really want to associate with the AU anymore. I'll always be grateful for the opportunities it gave me, but all of this was a final nail in the coffin, for me. Secondly- because I'm not proud of this.

When I was working on it, my creativity was heavily stifled and smothered by the expectations to uphold in remaking what is probably the most meat-mounted Deltarune fan track ever made- and if there's one thing I know about Chapter Rewritten fans, it's that y'all hate having your shit touched. Plus, on top of that, one of the first major criticisms I ever recieved on this was that it "Didn't uphold the legacy of the original", which is a really weird thing to say about a track that a groomer made, but I digress.

Anyways, I've taken the time to mentally prepare myself for how this will be recieved. I've done my best with the restrictions I had, and I'm tired of waiting around to be able to post it. If you work on Rewritten and you're still my friend, I'm sorry. This isn't personal.

Also, this has been done, since, like, probably March of 2024.

edit: should probably mention that the legacy comment was made by a co-leader, who, everyone then criticized them for saying that, and they changed their mind, so it wasnt a huge deal, but it still put a little worm in my brain that did not leave
