I took a walk down a place called Confusion Road
Signs pointed left right never to reveal all the places I would go 
So I took a little time to free my mind and lighten up my load 
And my teeth began to grind as I prepared to walk into the Great Unknown

Confusion 

I left to hear whispers, something sinister unfold
Nothing's ever as it seems, I stumble like a skipping stone
A field of dying dreams showed me the things I swear I used to know
You can't stop the rose from wilting so you've got to learn to take it slow

Waking up fast from my old slumber
Not knowing what I allowed
End of the tunnel a light had to follow
A smoking gun can't part the cloud

Body so numb I had succumbed
To the purpose of a better man 
Sudden serendipity, I got up and had to leave
