The first single off my mixtape "Clockwork Prophecies" which is slated to release in 2023 some time. There is a 99.9% chance I will re-record and re-master this at some point. I don't know anyone that knows anything about mixing and mastering so I had to figure all that out myself. I think I did a good job but really, I'm open to suggestions. Pretty much have had to teach myself all the stuff. 

The instrumental used is from Martha & The Muffins. The lyrics are my own and those rights are all reserved.

Escapist Coping Mechanism is the debut mixtape of Haven City rapper Charinus. I contacted every artist for permission to use these songs as backings. Only a few artists got back to me. I don't blame the ones that didn't.

What follows in this song is a vocal adaption of the story Katalin wrote for her song Dark Reverie. We follow a night who seeks out this wizard, hoping to obtain an elixir for the ongoing curse. Though he claims to need a cure for his citizens, he asks for just one for himself. Maybe his intentions aren't as pure? To be continued!

Happy new year!

Thinking on it I guess this could have been a Christmas song but ah well. This song also doubles as a preview for my upcoming litrpg novel, Ruminations of the Voidwalkers. Don't wanna say much but Thoth plays a huge role in the book.

I don't fw with paganism much but the character of Thoth has always intriguied me. Especially his role in Hermeticism and occult thought. Don't know why the writers took such interest in him but I find him just as fascinating. And this comes after I've made songs called the Slaying of Anubis and the Slaying of Horus.

This track will also be on the upcoming mixtape/compilation thing, Earth-Station End-Times.

Fun tidbit, this is one of my oldest songs written it just took a LONG time to get it released. It's been recorded since like June of last year. I just never released it because of various other crap.
