Eine Gute Stunde VΛMOS ΛRT

These are the meandering dreams of a restless sleeper. An ambient canvas interwoven with mesmerising beats and dotted with classic movie samples. The first half begins with a trippy groove and drifts into a semi-conscious dream. In the second half the music becomesincreasingly deeper and mesmeric, and finally ends in an epic crescendo. If you are the sort of person that likes to relax by putting your headphones on, this one is for you.
The music includes several rare pieces, and others slightly better known. However, the real highlights are at the end of the mix. 'Hypnogogii' is a stunning track that never fails to help me sleep. 'Odonna' comes from the ground-breaking ambient album 'Woob 1994'. The final track'Light Through The Veins' is simply one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever, which many will recognise it because it was used by Coldplay on the tracks 'Life In Technicolor' and 'The Escapist'.

Free Falling

Mit unserem zweiten Podcast stellen wir euch Johnny for Pleasure vor dessen Sets wir schon vor 2 Jahren sehr gerne gehört haben. Er zeigt immer wieder neue Seiten von sich indem er verschiedenste Genre der elektronischen Tanzmusik zu harmonischen und wie in diesem Fall, treibenden Sets kreirt.

Wie und wann bist du zur Elektronischen Musik gekommen?

Mein erster richtiger Kontakt mit der elektronischen Musik, war 1998 auf meiner ersten Loveparade in Berlin. Die Stimmung und das Feeling haben mich sofort in ihren Bann gezogen. 
Danach bin ich ziemlich viel umgezogen und dadurch habe mich weniger mit elektronischen Musik beschäftigt. Ja bis ich 2009 auf der Fusion war. Dieses Festival hat mich umgehauen und es hat mich dazu gebracht, selbst aufzulegen. Ich bin ein klassischer Spätzünder.

Welche Einflüsse hat deine Musik?

Ich lasse mich gerne Inspirieren von verschiedensten Generes. Letztendlich versuche ich mit meinen Sets immer eine Geschichte zu erzählen. Wie ein Musiker mit einem Lied. 
Wenn ich im Club oder auf nem OpenAir auflege, sauge ich die Stimmung auf und versuche eine Mischung aus Tanz und Geschichte zu kreieren.

Wo konnte man dich bisher antreffen?

Ich durfte schon einige Male im Helgas Stadtpalast spielen in Rostock, im Warmbad sowie auf Open Airs. In 2 Wochen bin ich im Zwischenbau in Rostock.

Gibt es Zukunftspläne?

Ehrlich gesagt habe ich keinen Plan, ich möchte irgendwann mal nen eigenen Track machen und bis dahin bin ich für alles offen was kommt.
Ich würde auch gerne mal in meiner Heimat Berlin spielen, was auch nicht mehr lange auf sich warten lässt. Man munkelt ;)
