  On the outermost frontiers of electronic music, artists are combining the building blocks of sound and
  rhythm in an attempt to create music from scratch. Mostly these attempts produce failures, but just
  occasionally a track appears that really inspires. This is an unusual collection of wierdly beautiful
  electronic tracks collected over two years - odd rhythms - strange sounds - infectious riffs and melodies.

  This mix was inspired by a parallel in the science world, where a small group of scientists are using
  breakthrough computational techniques to 'invent' new materials by throwing virtual atoms into
  structures and environments that could never before be conceived. Occasionally a virtual crystal
  survives, and so by using this approach these scientists roll back the limits of human understanding.

It's been 5 years since we first heard the sounds of this week's guest artist, and 3 and half since we last welcomed him to Cityscape Sessions. PODCAST - SERIES #24

Recording of my live set performed at the season opening Sunset Sundowner Sessions at Wunderbar, a small and beautiful beach bar in the West Coast of South Africa with stunning views of the ocean and post card sunsets.

I still really love playing unplanned sets! Wunderbar is really a place where I can experiment with new and old music trying different combinations, adding live keyboard (piano/synths) and percussion sounds and so often its magic!
