"Missing" is a track I created during one of the most difficult periods of my life. It was inspired by the loss of one of my closest friends last year. Music became my way of processing that absence, and this track captures both the space it left behind and the light we carry forward in memory.

While deeply personal, "Missing" is also meant to be a shared experience - a reminder that music connects us, even through life’s toughest moments. It’s also a gentle nudge to check in on your friends, even the ones who seem fine. You never know how much a simple message or call could mean to someone.

Charlesworth is a Manchester based Deep-Tech/Minimal DJ and producer, whose extensive arsenal of music has allowed him to swiftly punch his way to the top of the scene in 2024. With a number one release on beatport for his debut EP “Cecilia” Charlesworth continues to go from strength to strength.

Charlesworth’s catalytic rise can be attributed to a number of factors, most prominently his hard-hitting kicks, meticulously layered hi-hats and precise percussive sequences which all assemble to produce a distinctive rolling sound, easily distinguished from the rest of the pack.

Charlesworth’s love for house music was born from the dance floors of Manchester’s Sankeys basement , Leeds’ Canal Mills and Ibizas’ Pacha, taking a huge amount of inspiration from artists such as Marco Carola and Solomun. His love and passion for dance music has truly driven his productions forward, with releases on labels such as Distance, Zest, Distortion, No-Preset, Uncut, Till, Under Pressure, XtraTrax and Bloom.

With his track “Chevere” being featured on BBC Radio 1, it looks like 2025 is going to be his biggest year yet.

Charlesworth has played alongside some heavy hitters in the game, notably Mahony the owner of Take Notes.

Charlesworth also holds a residency for a Manchester based brand XtraTrax. Not only does he play regularly for this brand, but he plays a significant role in the operations.
