After a year of regrouping, gigging, and writing, the Project brings forth a collection of ten brand new songs. Inspired by songwriting greats like Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Prince, and even a little bit Huey Lewis (although, we won’t go there), the Project dives slightly deeper into genres like gospel and funk, while still retaining their unique rock roots. Ames’ smooth tenor vocal range fits perfectly within each melodic arrangement crafted by his fantastic band, coated with lyrics sharing stories of heartbreak, progression, and just plain fun. This is a record you surely won’t want to miss.
