Before Jay z performed at madison square garden , before kanye headlined SXSW hip hop was being performed for free in the parks of the bronx NYC. By jacking stolen electricity from the light posts , 2 turntables, a stack of wax and a mic dj's and mc's would rock the block parties all day for the people to dance. Crews like Treacherous 3, grandmaster flash and the furious 5 and of course the cold crush brothers who were fronted by the explosive "Grandmaster Caz". "The Park" is a first hand history lesson from one of the O.G MC'S.
