SOundScape Series is a project that started off as a mixtape series of an eclectic selection of sounds curated by System Of Survival. Encompassing a wide musical spectrum has born with the intention of displaying influences, sounds and rhythms often left out a dance floor orientated set.
SOundScape is a show broadcasted by the popular @ibizasonica every Friday from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm CET. The spirit is obviously the same: guests have the liberating opportunity to play WHATEVER inspires them. Listening to these unrestricted sets by notable DJs will be one more time an experience not to be missed.

Shoemaker's deep-rooted passion for music ignited during his travels across the globe in his mid-20s. Since settling in Cape Town
in 2011, his unwavering devotion to groove-based music has propelled him on an exhilarating journey of collecting and playing records.
With a multitude of residencies in the city year-round, Shoemaker's insatiable quest for fresh sounds continues to drive him to explore new musical territories.
His sets effortlessly blend sounds from all corners of the world from disco to house, zouk to dub, Cumbia to African rhythms and more - Unbound by a single genre or sound, Shoemaker aim is to surprise and captivate listeners with irresistible rhythms they may not have
heard before.
Shoemaker has played at Wolfkop, Bazique, MCQP, Sexy Groovy Love, Kinky Summer, Rocking the Daisies, and Retreat Yourself among other festivals and is a regular DJ in the city bowl where you can catch him playing at various venues around town or co-hosting one of many different events he’s runs.

SOundScape soon has found its place also as a unique monthly party hosted at Barcelona’s renowned Macarena Club (last Thursday of every month) where System Of Survival invite famous DJs /Producers from all over the world to play. SOundScape will be now also a show broadcasted by the popular IBIZA SONICA RADIO every Friday. The spirit is obviously the same: guests have the liberating opportunity to play WHATEVER inspires them. Listening to these unrestricted sets by notable DJs will be one more time an experience not to be missed.

AFTER MUSIC Exclusive Mix | Shoemaker: August 2020

Shoemaker grew up in a family on the east coast of the United States where music was always the cornerstone of the home. When he first left the States over a decade ago, his love for music was only magnified by his travels around the world. Shortly after, an obsession for disco music sent him down a path of collecting and playing records.  With multiple residencies in the city under his belt over the years, his drive for finding new music and sounds inspires him to consistently dig deeper. Today, Shoemaker’s sets are influenced by disco, Latin, African, Zouk, house, and music from all corners of the world - never one to stick to one sound or genre. He aims to spoil listeners with music they are unfamiliar with but find irresistible not to move to! 
Shoemaker has played at MCQP, Sexy Groovy Love, Kinky Summer, Rocking the Daisies, Retreat Yourself among other festivals and is a regular DJ in the city bowl where you can catch him playing at various venues around town.
