Got my hands on the Moog Grandmother at work - did what I always do and made a dystopian drone.

-Moog Grandmother (Envelope being held open in drone mode)

-Bit of compression after but only a tad

City Drone

Short field recording from Winchelsea beach. Mostly some small waves that have broken up by the sand bank with one or two seagull calls in the distance.

I made these recordings from the Ken Halpin hide in the Northern section of Rye Harbour Nature reserve, close to Camber Castle. It was recorded in the mid afternoon - I think I might've got better results by waiting until dusk when the birds may have become more active but rain was closing in and I didn't trust myself to cycle home in the dark!

I used my Zoom H4N Pro's inbuilt microphones with a Rycote windshield - there's still a fair amount of wind noise as this was a fairly windy day but the Rycote windshield does a fantastic job of reducing this noise.
