Silent Night Charlie Brennan 2023

In an edit of two 1/4" recordings from 1989, the performance; as Tobias suggests at the end of the song, might need another take, did not drive editing - but the quality of the original source tape did. To the keen ear, the edits are obvious. The tape condition was bad here and there. We did, get a complete take together. Recorded in Albany in March 1989; "So Boxed In" was a song that Tobias himself shared authoring with an old friend of his. It was one of our showcased original songs. One we were most proud. Tobias' lead vocal is strong and emotive. The guitar playing is stellar. The driving bottom end of Don and Tobias made that song groove and burn.

Our cover of the Bee Gee's smash hit "Nights On Broadway".  Not only one of the biggest hits of the mid 70's, but, it was the song that got the Bee Gee's the Saturday Night Fever gig. Robert Stigwood is said to have loved that song. Got the Bee Gee's for his Saturday NIght Fever movie soundtrack, and the rest is music business success history...
